Description
The principal requirement of this project is to provide a coordinated approach to surveillance of cetacean, seal, basking shark and marine turtle strandings, and to investigate major causes of death of stranded animals in Scotland. This work will complement the work currently undertaken in Scotland through the Scottish Government/Defra funded project “UK Cetacean Strandings Investigation Programme” (UKCSIP).
