PLEASE NOTE THIS IS FOR A GRANT NOT A CONTRACT HMPPS will be holding a virtual market engagement event on the 28th September 11-12 noon, for two Strategic Grants: Infrastructure Support for Small and Medium Sized VCSE Organisations and the Emotional Support to Prisoners in Distress or Crisis (2022 – 2025). To provide infrastructure support for small and medium sized VCSE (voluntary, community and social enterprise) organisations. The total funding available for this Grant Programme for 2022-25 is up to £550,000 per annum or up to £1,650,000 in total for the duration of the grant. To provide emotional support to prisoners in distress or crisis. The total funding available for this Grant Programme for 2022-25 is up to £500,000 per annum or up to £1,500,000 in total for the duration of the grant

Total Quantity or Scope

Over a number of years, Her Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) and the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) have provided a grants programme for voluntary sector organisations, including charities and social enterprises, working to reduce reoffending. As well as providing grant funding for project-based grants, HMPPS also provide strategic grant funding to support the infrastructure of some of HMPPS’ most crucial offender services, in support of key objectives. • To provide infrastructure support for small and medium sized VCSE (voluntary, community and social enterprise) organisations. • To provide emotional support to prisoners in distress or crisis.
