Description
The contract will be for the provision of a 24 hour, 365 days a year cover for all non-electrical heating systems (domestic and commercial), including emergency and out of hours. The contract will also allow the client the option to include other planned and reactive works, etc. subject to the performance of the appointed service provider. This will include renewable technologies but excludes any electrically heated homes. The contract will also allow the client the option to include other planned and reactive works, such as mechanical and electrical servicing/maintenance, compliance services, etc. subject to the performance of the appointed service provider. Over the duration of the contract, Stonewater Limited reserves the right to enter into an alternative agreement with the appointed service provider, to deliver the works through an Alternative Delivery Model (ADM). Please see the procurement documentation for further information. The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to cancel the procurement at any time and not to proceed with the award of any contract at any stage of the procurement process or to award only a part of parts of any contract. In any event, the Contracting Authority may not award Lot 3. Economic Operators are to note that the provisions of the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (as amended) may apply.
