The Council are looking to develop a framework of support providers who are able to meet the eligible needs and, where appropriate, accommodation needs of citizens of Cumbria. The provider will be required to meet the needs and deliver support and accommodation services for people with: • a learning disability, • a mental health problem, • a physical and/or sensory impairment, • autism. Full details provided in the specification. The framework is divided into four lots as service type and then each lot is divided into three sublots denoting geographical area. The lots are: (a) learning difficulties, (b) mental health, (c) autism, (d) sensory/physical impairment. The sublots for each lot are based on geography of Cumbria and are North, West and South. North covers the administrative areas of Carlisle City Council and Eden District Council. West covers administrative areas Allerdale Borough Council and Copeland Borough Council. South covers administrative areas South Lakeland District Council and Barrow in Furness Borough Council.
