Description

The manufacture, testing and delivery of an Oversized Freight Container (Type IP2). Compared to a conventional ISO Container, the main differences of the Oversized Freight Container is its size, the inclusion of an internal stainless-steel liner and a side opening door. ** Sellafield may, as an option which may be exercised by Sellafield in its absolute discretion, require that the successful Tenderer manufacture and assemble a further Oversized Freight Container – please see section II.2.4 for further details**

4. Description of the procurement

Please note, Sellafield may, as an option which may be exercised by Sellafield in its absolute discretion, require that the successful Tenderer manufacture and assemble a further Oversized Freight Container in accordance with specification (set out in Schedule 4 of the Contract) (unless otherwise agreed by Sellafield Ltd) by submitting a notification in writing to the successful Tenderer in accordance with the relevant provisions of the contract
