The Department require an up to date (and constantly updated) legislative database with full searchable functionality and the ability to trace complex amendments. With access to other health service pension schemes legislation for comparison purposes.

Total Quantity or Scope

This service will also provide access to the other health service pension schemes legislation for comparison purposes. The required service is currently provided by Pendragon through Perspective, their legal and regulatory information service for the UK pensions industry. The contract will be for a period of 3 years.

Legal Justification

DOH will rely on regulation.32 2 b ii and iii due to technical reasons as Pendragon own exclusive rights to the Perspective pensions legislative database and would not permit any other supplier to access or support/maintain it. In addition the database allows DoH NI to remain in parity with other UK jurisdictions currently utilising the database.
