Legal Justification

Hywel Dda University Health Board wish to urgently commence work for the outsourcing of trauma, orthopaedic and endoscopy services to assist with the health boards treatment targets. The health board wishes to appoint St Joseph's hospital to undertake this work. Initially NWSSP procurement services undertook a mini competition exercise within the Clinical, Surgical and Diagnostics Procedures Framework Agreement (OJEU ref PRO-OJEULT-38333). There were no offers received against the framework and subsequently St Joseph's indicated that they have full capacity to undertake this work within the allocated time scale.
