Description

The current contract relates to the provision of motor vehicle loss or damage claims services to the BBC in respect of BBC insured vehicles in the UK including:- a) the management of recovery and repair of BBC owned/leased vehicles which have been damaged. b) recording of claims, checking of claims paperwork and where appropriate settlement of repair invoices in respect of loss or damage to short term hires, demonstration or loaned vehicles insured by the BBC. c) administration and resolution of vehicle loss or damage cases including those of vehicles stolen and not recovered. d) recovery of BBC uninsured losses related to vehicle loss or damage, excluding personal injury and non-vehicle property. e) a new potential additional service to include the handling all third party claims against the BBC. This is currently done under a separate BBC claims handling contract
