HIAL wished to appoint a sole Supplier to a Contract for the provision of the supply and delivery of up to x24 Aircraft Ground Power Units at airports located at Benbecula, Islay, Kirkwall, Inverness, Stornoway, Sumburgh, and Wick John O’Groats. HIAL reserves the right to order less than x24 units if required.

Total Quantity or Scope

HIAL had a requirement for the supply and delivery of up to x24 Aircraft Ground Power Units (GPU’s). In line with HIAL’s key environmental commitments it is essential that the proposed GPU’s are powered using a more environmentally sustainable solution than the current 100% diesel powered units.

Renewal Options

1. Optional additional equipment including:  Spare DC Heavy duty output lead;  Load Bank;  Service Pack; and  Frequently used spare parts 2. Future requirements - there may be a requirement for HIAL to purchase additional GPU’s throughout the term of this contract, although this is not guaranteed.
