NHS Golden Jubilee has a requirement for an indirect calorimeter system. The system requires the following features: - Suitable for use with ventilated and unventilated patients - Must support the use of a face mask and/or a canopy hood - System must comply with ESPEN guidelines - Results must be available in under 15 minutes - Must be portable with battery backup to support easy transfer between patients - Must allow cleaning with neutral detergent wipes and Actichlor plus (Free Chlorine) disinfectant. - Must not require detailed interaction and user calibration before use - Supports simplified workflow without the need for in-depth specialist training
