Description
The Chiltern Railway Company Ltd. (CRCL) will be conducting a private tender for the provision of planned and emergency rail replacement management services. CRCL defines rail replacement services as the movement of rail customers and employees by either coach or bus for planned and emergency train service disruption(s). CRCL will be seeking pricing options for the following: A 3-year contract from April 2023 - April 2025 Option to extend to end of Chiltern's National Rail Contract (NRC) (12 December 2027 subject to the Secretary of State for Transport's right to terminate the NRC for convenience from 1 April 2025 on 12 months' notice.) The Rail Replacement Contract will contain provisions that make clear it can be transferred to a successor operator of the Chiltern franchise.
