NHS Golden Jubilee University National Health Board (NHS GJ) have been requested by the Scottish Government to provide Arthroplasty Surgery Monday-Saturday to reduce the number of patients waiting over 2 years for a joint replacement. There is therefore a requirement for a supplier to provide one (1) Theatre/ward nursing team 6 days per week (Mon – Sat) in the first instance, increasing to 2 and then 3 theatre and ward nursing teams on the Saturday. This will include ward nurse/staff to support post-operative recovery day shift (Sat-Mon) and night shift (Sat-Sun).
