Description
This contract is for the provision of an Occupational Health (OH) service for Oxford City Council and its entities Oxford Direct Services Limited (ODSL), Oxford Direct Services Trading Limited (ODSTL), Oxford City Housing Limited (OCHL) Trading as OX Place and Oxford City Housing Development Limited (OCHDL).
Total Quantity or Scope
The Council has strong, visible and collaborative leadership which has enabled it to transform itself into a modern and efficient authority and this has been confirmed through recent successful recognition as Best Achieving Council 2014. However we’re not resting on our laurels and we are looking at ways to both sustain and build on our excellence. A significant part of this will be by continuing to focus on our people as our most important asset. The Council has invested significantly over the past few years in a variety of initiatives to support the health, wellbeing and physical and mental wellbeing of our workforce. This includes a current Occupational Health and Employee Assistance Programme (the contract expires in March 2023) Occupational Health and a series of Health & Wellbeing projects. The successful contractor will ensure: The Contractor will ensure: • the standards of its Service to client departments are of high quality and meet the needs of the Council; • adherence to all relevant legislation which may be applicable at any stage during the period of the contract • adherence to all relevant Council policies and codes of practice which may be applicable at any stage during the period of the contract
