Description
The scope of this project is to seek one or more service providers to deliver 2 separate specialist technical skilled bootcamps, under Category 5 - Construction, Planning and the Built Environment of the Learning & Teaching DPS. The two Skills Bootcamp programmes are as follows: 1. Computer Aided Design; 2. Construction Management. The Service Provider(s) shall be expected to deliver high quality flexible training programmes to address the needs of adults aged 19+. Delivery is based at level 3 – 5 with a maximum delivery of 16 weeks and a minimum of 60 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) based on employer sector demand. All learning must be instructed under the guidance of a lecturer, supervisor tutor or appropriate provider of education and training whilst on the skills bootcamps. All projects must demonstrate extensive evidence of employer involvement in the design of their delivery of their skills Bootcamps.

| 12 | Computer Aided Design This lot is for aService Provider to up-skill employed staff and the unemployed to gain skills in use of CAD software and parametric modelling to support greater demand in skills to use design software for clients in the construction, modular, structural, engineering and caravan industries. |
| 13 | Construction Management This lot is for a Service Provider to upskill existing construction workers through the delivery of subject topics at level 3 and 4 including SUDs, civil engineering, understanding the wider construction team and project planning, management of projects and safe systems of work, quality assurance, building surveying, planning and regulations to enable them to move into construction supervisor and management roles. This programme would enable progression onto a JNC in construction or civil engineering or onto a level 4 apprenticeship in construction site supervision. |
