Description
NHS South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (under delegated commissioning arrangements from NHS England) have awarded an Alternative Personal Medical Services contract to Primary Care Sheffield Limited, Fifth Floor, 722 Prince of Wales Road, Sheffield S9 4EU for the delivery of primary medical services to patients of Harold Street Medical Centre, 2 Harold Street, Sheffield, S6 3QW on a short-term caretaker basis. The contract term is 18 months with effect from 01 July 2023 and with an end date of 30 June 2025. The Commissioner wishes to secure services for this period while a full needs assessment is completed to determine future commissioning requirements for the provision of primary care services to the local population. The outcome of this assessment will inform the decision made by the Commissioner on future arrangements and if at that time a new contract is to be offered, the ICB will undertake a competitive procurement process.
Total Quantity or Scope
Harold Street Medical Centre is a general practice in Sheffield, located to the north-west of the city. The practice is a member of the City Centre and Universities Primary Care Network. Practice Inner BoundaryThe practice does not have an inner and outer boundary to NHS Digital, the ICB will work with the care-taker contractor to agree a suitable boundary for the practice.The contract value will be £470,426 subject to nationally agreed contract uplift or amendments or changes to locally commissioned services which the practice is eligible to offer. For 2022/23 the contract value will be £313,617.25 including anticipated QOF payment, notional rent statutory levy adjustments but excluding activity based locally commissioned services income, local incentive scheme payments and any primary care network payments other than the PCN DES participation payment.The contract value will be subject to any national uplifts and changes in contractual payments.
