Legal Justification

Pursuant to the Public Contracts Regulation (PCR) 2015 Negotiated procedure without Prior Publication, NHS Wales is intending to place a single source contract with Static Systems for upgrades to obsolete elements of the existing nurse call system in Ysbyty Gwynedd - Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The system will include replacement and rewiring of the nurse call points linked to the existing nurse call system, this will need to be compatible with existing Static Systems solutions in place in adjoining wards to operate correctly. The installation needs to be in line with the existing provision in Ysbyty Gwynedd and in conjunction with the Maintenance contract associated with these works therefore Static Systems are the sole supplier for this provision.
