Description
The City of Edinburgh Council are looking to procure a suitably qualified Care at Home service or Specialist Supported Accommodation service to provide the management of/ and supply of high quality carers to support the care for a 18 year old young person (G) who has a diagnosis of learning disability, autism and mood disorder and displays challenging behaviour. G is blind due to his self-injurious behaviours.
Total Quantity or Scope
The City of Edinburgh Council are looking to procure a suitably qualified Care at Home service or Specialist Supported Accommodation service to provide the management of/ and supply of high quality carers to support the care for a 18 year old young person (G) who has a diagnosis of learning disability, autism and mood disorder and displays challenging behaviour. G is blind due to his self-injurious behaviours. Care at Home service - The staffing ratio would begin at 3:1, 24 hours a day but will be subject to review and possibly reduce depending on G’s level of need. Specialist Supported Accommodation service - The staffing ratio would begin at 3:1 24 hours a day but will be subject to review and possibly reduce depending on G’s level of need. G will require accommodation for his sole use. Additional information: Documents are attached to this notice which provide additional information.
