Description

This requirement includes, but may not be limited to: • Complete Pruning • Crown Lift • Crown Reduction and Reshape • Hedge Reduction • Tree Inspections • Ivy Removal • Multi-stemmed Shrub Reduction • Pollarding and Coppicing • Stump and Root Treatment • Tree Felling • Tree Removal • Woodland Thinning • and any other works instructed by the Client. Refer to the Procurement Documentation for full details. The Lot Contracts associated with this Competition will deliver measurable social value outcomes in accordance with Procurement Policy Note 01/21 – Scoring Social Value. The successful Economic Operator(s) will be required to support the Contracting Authority's social value objectives arising from this Procurement. Accordingly, Contract performance conditions and/or Award Criteria may relate, in particular, to social value.

Renewal Options

The Contracting Authority has the option, at its sole discretion, to extend the service period by such periods as the Contracting Authority sees fit provided that the cumulative period of such extensions shall not exceed 4 four years from the date of the expiry of the initial starting date.

The values shown in sections II.1.7 (Total value of the procurement) and V.2.4 (Total value of the contract/lot), in respect of each lot to be awarded, represents the potential total value of the particular lot contract, inclusive of the initial lot Contract's service period, potential extension options and 35 percent contingency (the Contracting Authority, acting within its sole discretion, has revised the 40 percent contingency figure initially indicated in the Contract Notice to 35 percent).
