Cumberland Council as site lead organisation for the Millom Marshes site, is seeking to appoint a Professional Services Framework Consultant to deliver a Coastal Processes, Flood Risk and Nature Based Options Appraisal for Millom Marshes, to understand how the site is evolving and to determine the current and future flood risks from coastal, fluvial and combined flood events, taking into account the predicted effects of climate change. Following on from this, the Consultant will explore the feasibility of employing different natured based solutions developed by the community for managing the current and future flood risk to Millom Marshes
