Description

The BBC sought to purchase the provision of Water for the BBC Estate (England & Scotland) Tenderers were invited to submit a response to this ITT in accordance with the instructions set out in this ITT (a "Tender"). The BBC required a single supplier (retailer) to provide a Contract for supply of water and wastewater across the BBC Estate (English and Scottish estate).

Legal Justification

This contract opportunity was advertised via the publication of a contract notice reference, 2021/S 000-029630. Notification of the award was published via a contract award notice ref, 2022/S 000-034320. The terms of this advertised contract including any additional optional extensions ran from October 2022 - March 2025. To provide the BBC with sufficient time to conclude a competitive retender of this service (contract notice ref, 2025/S 000-003021) and to appoint a provider, it is necessary to extend the term of this contract for an additional period of up to three months up until 31/07/2025.
