SEND Alternative Provision Register

Hampshire County Council wishes to establish a register for suppliers who provide additional education and supportive services for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). These plans cater to children, young people, and adults with special educational needs requiring support beyond what educational settings can offer. The services awarded under the register aim to meet statutory obligations under the Children & Families Act and SEND Regulations (2014) by assessing, meeting, and reviewing the needs of these pupils through family and professional engagement. In scope services include in-person and online tutoring (both QTS and non-QTS qualified), specialist teaching, regulated therapies, and inclusion support, with flexibility for future adjustments. The register will be open for an initial period of 4 years and further extensions in flexible periods of up to 8 years will be available, taking the maximum length to 12 years. Once operational it will replace the framework SEN Discretionary Payments Open Framework (CS18368).
