This Intention to Award Notice is issued in accordance with the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The Procurement relates to the provision of the Counselling and Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) Service.

Total Quantity or Scope

This Intention to Award Notice is issued in accordance with the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The Procurement relates to the provision of the Counselling and Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) Service. NHS Shropshire Telford and Wrekin Integrated Care Board (NHS STW) currently holds a contract with Axis Counselling for this service and anticipates no change to the current service provision. Axis is a charity with 30 years' experience of working with victims/survivors of sexual abuse across Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin. The service offers a range of support across the counselling and ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) services. Axis Counselling work with people aged 5+ who have experienced: • Childhood sexual abuse • Child sexual exploitation • Sexual assault, sexual violence, rape. • Online sexual abuse In addition, the service supports family members of Victims/Survivors of sexual trauma. The service offers a range of services including a Trauma Informed Online Self-Help Programme, Workshops, Brief Counselling, Trauma Focused Counselling & Group work. NHS STW is satisfied that the requirements for the provision of health care services are not changing considerably, i.e., they don't meet the considerable change threshold as set out in Regulation 6(10). The intention is to award a contract to Axis Counselling, the existing provider, via the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, Regulation 9, Direct Award C. The contract period shall be for a period 12-months from 1st April 2025 to 31st March2026. The estimated contract value is £163,283.00.
