Description
The Video Goggles Neuro-vestibular Dizziness service provides much needed support for service users who are experiencing unexplained dizziness for two weeks or more (where there is no neurological deficit). The Service offers a specific diagnostic test – the video goggles test – for General Practitioners in Wakefield to directly refer to, avoiding unnecessary medications and secondary care referrals. The main goal of this service is to enhance quality of life for people with long-term conditions by mitigating the practical, emotional, occupational and/or educational impacts of service users with dizziness/vertigo.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to confirmation of contract award notice. The awarding of this This contract is subject to has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the Standstill Period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 31 March 2025.
