Description
Healthworks Enables is a service of health and wellbeing activities, delivered to residents of Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, but strongly targeted to people from ethnically diverse communities. The service is designed to support individuals to improve their own health and wellbeing, deliver preventative healthcare, increase physical activity and improve diet and nutrition and improve access to mainstream health services – e.g. mental health services, dentistry and NHS.
Total Quantity or Scope
Healthworks Enables is a service of health and wellbeing activities, delivered to residents of Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, but strongly targeted to people from ethnically diverse communities. The service is designed to support individuals to improve their own health and wellbeing, deliver preventative healthcare, increase physical activity and improve diet and nutrition and improve access to mainstream health services – e.g. mental health services, dentistry and NHS. The Council is intending to award this contract to an existing provider following Direct Award Process C. The lifetime value of the contract including extension is £495,416.67 The contract start date is 1st May 2025 for a period of two years and five months, with the option to extend for one year.

Legal Justification
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 16th April 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.

The key criteria was reviewed against contract management data to assess if the provider is satisfying the original contract and will likely satisfy the proposed contract to a sufficient standard. RBKC were satisfied with assessment.
