Description
NAC require to implement a Measured Term Contract for the Replacement Central Heating and Electrical Re-Wiring Programme to various domestic properties throughout North Ayrshire. The Council is required to undertake and upgrade central heating & electrical rewiring installations to tenants of North Ayrshire to comply with Scottish Housing Quality Standards. Electrical re-wiring follows a 40-year cycle and central heating has a 15-year cycle.
Total Quantity or Scope
This procurement exercise seeks to appoint a suitably qualified contractor to undertake Replacement Central Heating and Electrical Re-Wiring works as part of the Council’s set programme to upgrade domestic properties. This will be measured term contract, using model form contract SBCC MTC/SCOT 2019.

Environmental Management Procedures 1. The bidder must hold a UKAS (or equivalent) accredited independent third-party certificate of compliance in accordance with BS EN ISO 14001 (or equivalent) or a valid EMAS (or equivalent) certificate or the bidder must have a regularly reviewed documented policy regarding environmental management, see attachment at SPD question 4D.2.
