This is advance notice that we will have a tender out shortly for refurbishment works to Kielder Castle. Kielder Castle is a Grade II listed building owned by Forestry England. The intention of this project is to refurbish some of the ground floor rooms to improve the entrance to and space inside the café. The works include but are not limited to: partial demolition of the single storey extension in the courtyard, reconfiguration of the toilets, construction of new entrance, removal of two existing staircases and supply & installation of one spiral staircase, plastering, flooring, decoration and M & E works.
