The crisis text service is defined by the comprehensive approach to supporting everyone in mental health crisis, irrespective of their background and demographics. The clinically led service aims to provide timely, accessible, and effective support including a range of interventions tailored to meet the diverse needs of service users in Birmingham and Solihull.

Total Quantity or Scope

The award of a contract relating to Mental Health Crisis Text Messaging Service; this notice is an intention to award a contract under the most suitable provider process, for a 12 month period at a cost of £162,000 per annum. This is a new service and the intention is to award to Mental Health Innovations, a new provider with BSMHFT

If the provider continues to deliver services to the satisfaction of the commissioner, the contract can be extended in line with the lead provider contract and/or confirmed funding stream.
