West Midlands Arrest Referral Service

Description

The West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner commissioned the Arrest Referral Service in January 2020. This service covered the four existing custody suites in the West Midlands force area at that time. Cranstoun are the current service provider. The current service was commissioned to complete Required Assessments following a positive Drug Test on Arrest, and Community Sentence Treatment Requirement (CSTR) Suitability Assessments prior to court appearance. The current service offers harm reduction advice and referrals into treatment. The PCC is looking to re-commission the Arrest Referral Service.
