Birmingham Women and Children's NHS Foundation Trust, as Lead Provider of the West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative (WMCPC) (https://toucanwestmids.nhs.uk/), commissioned an Admission and Triage Unit (ATU) for children and young people within the West Midlands (aged 13-18) who require intensive mental health support and a brief admission for assessment if required.

This contract has now been formally awarded using the Most Suitable Provider Process.As a result of this Most Suitable Provider Process, a contract has been awarded to the successful Provider for a period 2 years (expiring on 31st March 2027).The contract was formally awarded on 9th April 2025.It is anticipated that the service provision resulting from this Process will have a lifetime value of the contract is £4,000,000.The award decision-makers are the WMCPC.
