Description

The Asylum Support and Accommodation Programme (ASAP) is a long-term transformation programme in the delivery of asylum support and accommodation services. The objective is a transformative re-procurement of services to replace the following contracts: • Asylum Accommodation Support Contracts (AASC) • Advice Issue Reporting and Eligibility (AIRE) • Bridging Accommodation and Travel Services (BATS) • Asylum Support Payments (ASP) The Home Office will be coming to market for supplier(s) who can: 1. Identify and acquire asylum accommodation 2. Maintain asylum accommodation to a set of defined standards and resolve maintenance issues as they arise 3. Transport Asylum Seekers whilst being supported by the Home Office 4. Support Asylum Seekers throughout their journey through the provision of access to information and guidance, 24/7 helpline, and in-person support whilst in accommodation (all in a range of languages). 5. Ensure the safety and security of all Asylum Seekers and Staff at all times 6. Ensure the wellbeing and safeguarding of Asylum Seekers at all times, notifying and working with appropriate organisations as required 7. Provide emergency cash payments / food vouchers as required 8. Provide independent assurance of the Home Office's Accommodation and Delivery Partners responsible for relevant Asylum service delivery.
