Description

For the supply of intravenous cannula and associated products including: Peripheral Intravenous cannulas – non-winged, winged and ported with wings, Safety Peripheral Intravenous cannulas – non-winged, winged and ported with wings, Metal needle winged devices with extension, Subcutaneous infusion sets with extension, Safety integrated cannulas, Safety cannulation packs and associated accessories. A peripheral intravenous cannula or catheter is a short, thin flexible tube intended to be inserted into a peripheral vein (typically on the hand/arm) to enable short-term (< 30 days) intravenous (IV) access for administration of fluids/medication and blood sampling. It is typically assembled with a dedicated introduction needle (Stylet), and usually includes connectors, injection ports and/or wings for fixation. It is not intended to be advanced to the central vasculature.
