Contract contains an optional extension period of up to 24 months in one or more periods, subject to satisfactory contractor performance, to end 31 March 2030. Value is total contract value including extension period.

Legal Justification

This contract is awarded under the ground of no genuine competition as the dual role played by the Landlord And Care provider places the residents at risk. This is down to residents selecting the Extra Care Service as a whole provider of its housing and personal care delivery. Assured shorthold tenancies often include the personal care delivery in these settings. Please note that the process to put in place the Direct Award commenced prior to 24 February 2025.
