This is a Provider Selection Regime Wales (PSR Wales) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulations 2025. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015/Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded using direct award process 2.The contract has been awarded on 30th May 2025.The services are to be provided from 1st June 2025 to 31st May 2026, with the option to extend for a further 24 months reviewed annually.The estimate lifetime value of the contract is 126,000.00 GBP (VAT exempt)

The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 27th May 2025. Award decision-makers – Central, Eastern and Western Vale Cluster Project Development Manager & Central Vale Cluster Lead The award decision-makers’ reasons for selecting the chosen provider and to Direct Award process 2 were; there is the same key deliverables: triage, referral, coordination, partnership engagement, and gap analysis. The same funding level and the same scope and requirements. Additionally to this the provider has an established team, robust referral handling procedures, and compliant Information Governance systems. They are already embedded in the local service network, and disruption could negatively impact service continuity. Changing provider could cause a break in the referral and triage process, disrupting care for vulnerable patients and continuity is crucial given the rising population & deprivation pockets.
