Description

To authorise a procurement procedure, via the Crown commercial Services (CCS) RM6099 Transport Technology & Associated Services Framework for the Councils Traffic Management Technology, comprising of a suite of three tender lots, as described below and subsequent approval of award of contract to the successful tenderer following a further competition exercise. The length of the contract will be 5 years at an overall approximate value of £198,000 per annum. Award date of the contract is anticipated to be the 30th June 2025.

1 RM6099 Lot 1- Maintenance and Supply of Intelligent Transport Equipment

Lot description Under the Traffic Management Act 2004 the Council has a duty to manage, regulate and provide for expeditious movement of traffic on its roads. In pursuance of its obligations the Council requires a specialist contractor to assist, maintain and provide a supply and maintenance service to Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and associated equipment. The Value of this contract is £109,000.00 Per Annum

2 RM6099 Lot 2 The Supply, Maintenance and Operation of Existing UTC, SCOOT, VMS and CPGS Hosted Platforms

he service will consist of Three service elements: a) Maintain existing Hosted UTC and SCOOT system, including remote technical support during normal work hours. b) Maintain existing Hosted VMS and CPGS platform, including remote technical support during normal work hours. c) Maintain and provide any configuration details for Outstation devices and router devices, including remote technical support during normal working hours. The Value of this Contract is £46,000.00 Per Annum

3 RM6099 Lot 3 Live Count System and Provision of Journey Time Information and Support For OHDS and ADS

Provide a system that will enable Hull City Council to provide Real Time Journey Information to 18 digital messaging signs across the local network. This system should also be able to accept information from 5 x over height vehicle detection sites and 3 x active travel detection sites. The system should allow Hull City Council to connect and review these devices for fault monitoring, reporting and all basic functionality needs. The length of the contract will be 5 yrs approx value 43k per annum.
