Description
Derbyshire Dales District Council (the Council) is seeking a supplier(s) to supply Light plant and hand tools. This contract is being let as two lots: Lot 1 Hand Tools, Lot 2 Light Plant. Suppliers may bid for one or both lots. Each lot will be evaluated and awarded in accordance with the evaluation criteria and methodology detailed in the Part One Process Overview document. The initial contract period is 3 years; the contract is estimated to commence 6 October 2025 and expire 5 October 2028. There will be an option to extend the contract for 2 years in annual increments, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs. Maximum total contract period is Five years

Renewal Options
There will be an option to extend the contract for two (2) years in annual increments, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs.
Award Criteria
| Price | Price will be evaluated based on a maximum of 40% for the lowest priced compliant Bid (subject always to the provisions in relation to abnormally low Bids). Other Bids will be awarded a number of points in direct proportion to the relation between their Bid price and the lowest bid price, using this formula; Tendered Score = Lowest Bid Price/ Bid Price x Maximum Marks |
