Description

London Underground (LU) is seeking to procure a CNC Milling Machine and a CNC lathe for the Railway Engineering Workshop (REW). This equipment will be used in the manufacture of parts for railway application where high precision and reliability are critical and this will increase production output for the REW. The proposed tender is intended to secure one supplier to supply both machines. Suppliers must be able to demonstrate experience in delivering and supporting advanced manufacturing equipment for use on railway related applications or similarly regulated sectors. Key Requirements: CNC Milling Machine and a CNC lathe Installation, commissioning, and initial training for both assets.
