Castle Point Borough Council (The Authority) is inviting suppliers to participate in market engagement for the refurbishment of Knightswick Shopping Centre in Canvey Island. The building refurbishment works proposed will include modernising the internal finishes to create a dwell space with seating and planting to improve customer experience. The existing floor finishes will be replaced with new including entrance matting. The existing brick pilasters will be clad with a new system. At high level, the windows will be replaced. A new ceiling system will be installed replacing the existing slatted ceiling system. Lighting will be upgraded including both recessed and feature lighting throughout the main Centre area. Hot Air curtains will be installed above the main entrances.
