Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council (SMBC), through its Registration Services, acts as the relevant authority for the Black Country Coroners Service. The jurisdiction of the Black Country Coroners Service encompasses the four local authority areas of Sandwell, Walsall, Dudley, and Wolverhampton. To support the delivery of coronial responsibilities, the provision of mortuary and pathology services across the Black Country region will be procured under this contract. The services will be divided into four (4) Lots, each corresponding to one of the local authority areas. The contract is divided into the following lots: Lot 1 - Sandwell Lot 2 - Walsall Lot 3 - Wolverhampton Lot 4 - Dudley Please note that this is a UK1 Pipeline Notice. This is not a PIN or call for pre-market engagement/competition. As this is a pipeline notice, there is not guarantee that a tender opportunity will result from this.
