Description

CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISION OF A NEUROPHYSIOLOGY SERVICE TO DEFENCE MEDICAL REHABILITATION CENTRE (DMRC) The Authority has a requirement for the provision of a neurophysiology service across Defence rehabilitation. The requirement is for up to 30 tests per annum but must be able to surge to 50 if required. This will be performed using an agreed referral proforma via an online electronic health record (EHR) web portal (e.g. Cerner, EPIC), email or paper based. The Supplier shall provide: a. An appointment within 5 working days of the request being received from the Authority. b. The appointments within 20 working days of the referral being received. c. Test and interpret the results within 1 working day of the test results (findings) being made available. d. Provide the findings back within 5 working days of the investigation. The range of neurophysiology investigations include: a. EEG b. EMG c. NCS d. Visual evoked potentials (VEPs) e. Auditory evoked potentials (AEPs) This is a framework agreement and therefore no business is guaranteed from the Authority.
