Description

Together We CIC Disordered Eating Service in North Cumbria. This contract has been awarded under the urgent circumstances provision of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and Procurement Regulations 2024 do not apply to this award. Following a transition from a grant, an Urgent Award has been put in place to allow for the safe continuance of services while future services/procurement compliance is planned. Contract Period: 01/10/2025 - 30/09/2026 Contract Value: £80,000

Total Quantity or Scope

The service will cover the whole of North Cumbria. Supports recovery from disordered eating by providing interventions designed to develop skills for managing both physical and mental health, focusing on disordered eating recovery. Bridges service gaps by collaborating with statutory services to offer step-down and step-up support options for individuals who do not meet criteria for early intervention or specialist eating disorder care. Enhances coping strategies and education by improving coping mechanisms and providing psychoeducation for adults experiencing eating distress, equipping them with tools to manage their condition.
