Material Selection & Optical Characterisation Identify and test materials for the THEMIS calibration target. Measure bidirectional reflectance distribution function (BRDF) properties. Simulation of Target Reflectance & Uncertainty Use Eradiate software to simulate BRDF and HCRF (Hemispherical-Conical Reflectance Factor). Quantify uncertainties based on material and manufacturing tolerances. Experimental Field Campaigns Conduct UAV-based measurements of the artificial target. Validate protocols for UAV-based HCRF acquisition. Data Processing & BRF Retrieval Process UAV data to derive BRF values. Compare retrieved BRF with simulated values and assess accuracy.
