Other Information
3. Fully bespoke PN bags where the supplier provides PN bags to a specified nutritional composition with or without vitamins, trace elements and electrolytes. It is accepted that these products will have very limited shelf life and therefore a critical aspect of the supply will be the lead time between the supplier receiving the request and the pharmacy receiving the product. EMPC are looking at other compliant options to market which includes investigating other current contracts for suitability due to the complex needs and demands of our member Trusts. ** PREVIEW NOTICE, please check Find a Tender for full details. ** EMPC have explored other Framework options and there are currently no Frameworks available aligned to our requirements. Therefore, EMPC will carry out their own Pre-Market Engagement with Suppliers. A Pre-market Engagement Notice will be published in early 2026 A Transparency Notice will be published in early 2026 with a justification for continuation with the current Contract until the award of their new Framework in the summer of 2027.
