Description

A term service contract for coal tips maintenance, 5 year contract with an option to extend year on year, to include upkeep, and emergency response of coal tips to ensure safety and compliance with legislation. Including, maintaining drainage and vegetation, and providing rapid response to slips or blockages. This approach helps manage risk, protect the environment, and safeguard nearby communities.

Renewal Options

Option to extend year on year, or as agreed, to include upkeep, and emergency response of coal tips to ensure safety and compliance with legislation. Including, maintaining drainage and vegetation, and providing rapid response to slips or blockages.

Award Criteria

Quality Response 1. Management of the Contract and individual Works Packages (20%). 2. Management of a Safe Working Environment and compliance of CDM Regulations during the execution of works. (25%). 3. Risk Management (20%). 4. Previous experience of delivering Coal Tip related safety and maintenance projects (20%). 5. Informal Partnering (5%). 6. Decarbonisation (10%). 7. Social Value - non scored but will form part of the contract.
Price Tenders will be valued and assessed using an assessment model, the model will be priced by CCBC using the rates inserted by tenderers within the Price List, this will allow best value for money to be identified by CCBC and the lowest price generated will score the full 50% with other submissions being weighted against the lowest price accordingly.
