Local Authorities within the Cwm Taf Morgannwg region, inclusive of Bridgend County Borough Council (BCBC), Rhondda Cyon Taf County Borough Council (RCTCBC) and Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council (MTCBC) are seeking to enter into an agreement with a suitably qualified and experienced consultant in order to: • Undertake a review of the current “complex needs” provision and demands across the region. • Advise on suitable accommodation and support models for individuals and families with complex needs who are not effectively supported by current housing and support pathways. • Produce a review report that summarises regional demands, informs future service delivery and potential accommodation models. • Provide recommendations for Local Authorities to work with those with the most complex needs who access housing and homelessness services. The consultants proposed timescales should be included within their bid. We do not envisage the project to run any longer than 12-16 weeks. The maximum budget (joint funded by all 3 Local Authorities) is £35,000.
