Nuclear Restoration Services Limited (NRS), a subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA), is responsible for safely decommissioning the first generation nuclear and research sites across the UK. To enable this work NRS require additional project controls and commercial resource to support the existing functions.

The following roles are an indication of requirements:• Project Planning• Cost Engineering• Cost Estimating• Risk Engineering• Project Controls Manager• Senior Contract Management• Quantity Surveying (Standard and Senior) • Category/ Supply Chain LeadThe demand for these services will fluctuate dependent on the requirements of the Contracting Authority, and may increase or decrease significantly.

Legal Justification

NRS have used CCS Framework Construction Professional Services to direct award to the incumbent supplier for a short period (20 months). During this time NRS will continue to review our make v buy strategy and demand profile following the spending review. It will also allow time for the CCS Framework (Construction Professional Services 2) to be awarded.A PIN will be issued to the market shortly to explore market interest and contract models for a replacement contract 2027+
