Legal Justification

The first variation arose around the Pensions Dashboard, this was compulsory work XPS have to carry out, the value of this work was unable to be confirmed at point of contract being drawn up. Variation of the Agreement 2.1. With effect from the date of this Variation Agreement, the Parties agree the following amendments to the Agreement: Insertion of the additional charges for Pensions Dashboard outlined in the presentation titled "Pension Dashboard Readiness" dated February 2025. This work was not included in the Project Initiation Document or Contract Documentation as the requirement was unknown. Legislation was passed under The Pensions Dashboards Regulations 2022. The total price for the variation is £32,093.00 as a one-off implementation fee (see breakdown below, exc VAT) Contract to now include an annual charge of £10,547 for the ongoing dashboard support fees, commencing from 1st Nov 2025 to 30 th June 2028 The second variation of the Agreement 2.1. With effect from the date of this Variation Agreement, the Parties agree the following amendments to the Agreement: Insertion of the additional charges for additional work in respect of the Pension Remedy. This work is over and above that included in the Project Initiation Document or Contract Documentation as the requirement has exceeded the pricing included. The total price for the variation during 25/26 is £11,352 (from column Y of the Appendix spreadsheet) exc. VAT.
