Description

This requirement covers the procurement of a suitable contracting partner for the next tranche (Tranche 5) of electrical infrastructure requirements for TfGM Bus Depot Electrification Programme. TfGM are exploring options to procure a contracting partner to develop and deliver suitable proposals and infrastructure, for Tranche 5 (and potentially Tranche 6) of the Bus Depot Electrification Programme. Currently the design is at RIBA Stage 2 and the intention will be for the appointed contractor to progress this further to detailed design (RIBA Stage 4) through to future construction. Tranche 5 of the TfGM Bus Depot Electrification Programme includes Wigan and Wythenshawe. Tranche 6 projects are yet to be confirmed but is likely to include a number of additional depots of a similar size. This is the initial Procurement Notice and the intention is to issue a Market Engagement Notice early December 2025, followed by the Tender Notice in March 2026.
