Legal Justification

Buro Happold were appointed to the Boston Spa Renewed contract in 2021 and have worked with the British Library, the main contractor and other organisations to design and deliver the mechanical and electrical engineering scheme for that programme. At this stage a change of supplier would:- a) result in the contracting authority receiving goods, services or works that are different from, or incompatible with, the existing goods, services or works, and (b) the difference or incompatibility would result in disproportionate technical difficulties in operation or maintenance.
