Description
The EOI stage has now closed. The tender submission deadline has been extended to 12/12/25. We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced contractors to carry out improvement works on residential properties. The aim is to bring properties up to our required standards, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with relevant regulations. Works may include (but are not limited to): Internal refurbishments External repairs Kitchen and bathroom upgrades Heating and electrical installations Energy efficiency improvements Interested suppliers must demonstrate relevant experience, capacity, and appropriate accreditations. This EOI is the first stage in a potential tender process.
Renewal Options
The contract may be extended for a further period of up to 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance, continued availability of Welsh Government grant funding, and operational requirements. Any extension will be at the discretion of the contracting authority and communicated in advance to the appointed supplier(s)
Award Criteria
| Relevant Experience | Minimum 3 years’ experience in property improvement or refurbishment works, with examples of similar projects and complying with client specification |
| Public Liability Insurance | Valid insurance with minimum cover of £5 million. |
| Health and Safety Compliance | Compliance with current health and safety legislation and best practices. |
| Geographic Coverage | Ability to deliver works in Swansea ,Neath Port Talbot and Carmarthenshire. |
| Trade Accreditations | Certifications such as CHAS, Constructionline, Gas Safe, NICEIC. |
