Description

The contract is for the collection of hard plastics from its recycling centres for the purpose of separation and distribution to treatment facilities and reprocessing centres for recycling and, where appropriate energy recovery with landfill as a last resort.

Renewal Options

The Council reserves the right to extend/renew the Contract annually up to a further two years. Any extension may be subject to further approval by Council Committee and satisfactory performance of the Contractor.

Award Criteria

Contract Delivery 30% Quality Weighting applied. For this quality criteria there are 50 marks available out of 100 marks. The score obtained is then calculated as a percentage score out of 30%. i.e out of 15%
Treatment and diversion of waste 30% Quality Weighting applied. For this quality criteria there are 50 marks available out of 100 marks. The score obtained is then calculated as a percentage score out of 30%. i.e out of 15%
